As we all know, without research any strategy is just guess work. Fundraising, branding, organisational strategies – they all need to be based on valid researched data to give certainty to a charity that it is going in the right direction. We design effective research programmes that gather the right data from the right sources.

Encourage more people to participate in challenge events


Action

Pentatonic was engaged to help staff develop more effective marketing propositions. Before writing any propositions, we designed a study to better understand the values of people who had participated in events in the past. What was important to them? What mattered in their lives?

The results were fascinating and gave a clear indication of what would (and would not) resonate. By focusing on the people’s values we were able to create more meaningful, effective and engaging propositions.

Result

A significantly increased level of supporter participation, particularly for trekking events. We design effective research programmes that gather the right data from the right sources.
